Beaini, try to set "use real XFB" in the Graphic-Settings. This should work with the tutorials and dolphin 4771 or 4525.

Hi teknecal
thanks for the proposal. Now I tested with Dolphin but had no luck :(
On my office laptop the emulator is running not at all because the Intel Graphics seem to miss some important feature, and on my private PC the GRRLIB-Demo is running, but for some reason your tutorials not... I suppose Dolphin doesn't support direct XFB access...
Finally I weighted it more important to be able to test my developments in gcube and decided to ignore GRRLIB for the moment.

So my first (very simple) game is based for 90% on your tutorials and has just been completed :-) Thanks!

I've never tried GRRLIB with gcube but I assume it won't work because GRRLIB actually uses the GPU to do some complex things other than printing text, images, etc and so I think gcube might not have these implemented.

You could try compiling for Wii and then seeing if Dolphin might be able to run it: http://www.dolphin-emu.com

Hi teknecal
great tutorials, thanks!!!

In different places you propose to use GRRLIB.
Just tried to adapt some of your tutorials to GRRLIB 4.2, but then I'm no longer able to compile with gamecube_rules.
The GRRLIB installer copied the libraries to C:\devkitPro\libogc\lib\wii only, so I copied theme manually to C:\devkitPro\libogc\lib\cube as well, but this gives me a linking error in function GRRLIB_Init:
GRRLIB_core.c:(.text.GRRLIB_Init): undefined reference to CONF_GetAspectRatio
Have you any experience / information if it should be possible to use GRRLIB with GCube Emulator?

Hi there, Bmp2gc can't do it.

Use raw2c found here: http://www.codemii.com/raw2c.zip
Use it like: raw2c myimage.png

(interesting enough it's not included in the latest DevKitPPC r19)

I don't have one on using PNG images, but you might want to check out GRRLIB as that has PNG loading and is quite easy to use.
