Also there was a corrupted .zip file in the homebrew_browser directory. I'm going to blame the problem on the corruption of that file. (too bad I erased that too, didn't think :\ ). I think it was named something to do with icons or images, I can't remember. Probably that zip that was downloaded at the beginning. Can you check your /apps/homebrew_browser/temp directory and see if the icon files are there? I would say to try removing all the icons from that directory and see how it goes.
