hi
I just released my first homebrew game for the wii

here’s the official wiibrew page for OpenBor beats of rage.
Not sure why MegaCodeDownloader is throwing me a black screen when I launch it. Any help with that?
Sorry about not replying earlier, I’m getting this too. I’ve spoken with the author (megazig) and he says that the geckocodes.org site has changed their webpage format so that’s why it’s not working. Once megazig figures out the new format, they will update MegaCodeDownloader.
Ketufe has released v0.4 beta of the shoot Em Up “Xav Shooter”, inspired by Space Invaders.

I just tried to install the v0.3.7 of the homebrew browser, I have successfully loaded the homebrew channel but every time I try to load the browser I get an error, I was wondering if it would cause a problem for me to try to install an older version of the browser after I have tried to install a newer version???? Any help, I don’t want to brick my system so if its not possible I will just skip it. Thanks
What error message do you receive? Does it load up the homebrew browser or does the homebrew channel say it can’t load it? Have you tried v0.3.8 of the homebrew browser?
Hear is a picture of the error message that I am getting.
Exception (dsi) occured! then under this is a whole bunch of numbers like
GPR00
GPR01
GPR02 etc…. then under that it says
Stack Dump
B0070310 –> B00702F0 –> etc…. then under that it says
Code Dump
B0070310
B0070320 etc… Then I get stuck here and have to reboot my system.
sorry wrong button.
so it says
Stack Dump
B0070310 –> B00702F0 etc…
under this I get
Code Dump
B0070310
B0070320
B0070330 etc….
Interesting thought, I just read on another site another individual with the same issue and error message, he was told that he had a usb or a gc item plugged in. Now I am 100% certain that I dont have anything plugged into the usb however I do have a wireless gamecube controller. The receiving unit for the controller was plugged in during my attempt to load, could this affect the load process???
It does not load anything, and no I have not tried v0.3.8 could you send me the link for that and I will try to install that without the gc controller plugged in. This will not harm my system though where I have already tried to load an older version? One more question everytime I open the homebrew channel it asks if I want to update it to the latest version, should I??? Again I am very concerned about bricking my wii as I dont have the money to replace it, so if there is a chance by doing these things I would rather skip it. Thanks
Never mind to the error when loading the browser I unpluged the gc controller and everything loaded and worked fine. However I am still wondering if I should update the HB Channel??? I know this probably goes in another forum, but if you could help that would be great. Thanks
Updating the HB channel will be fine.
