snes9x gx still reports available update immediately after update.
EDIT: the actual thing remains at 4.1.5. updating from within the emulator get it to 4.2.0 and hbb then reports it as up to date

I had the same issue as well..
If its the first time you have installed Snes9x just let it install..
Then back out of HBB and run Snes9x..
Snes9x will auto update to the latest version..
