“WiiSX Beta 2″ seems to be mis-uploaded, as the download stops at about 60% and begins to unpack the files, resulting in damaging existing Beta 1 and/or deleting WiiSX completely.
Bug (unfixed since several releases): Question Mark icon is displayed, when installed version of an App is newer than the one provided by the HBB (displays “Update”, allows to downgrade if newer version is more buggy). This usually occurs when Apps use their own Update Routine, WiiXplorer for example.
Thanks for letting me know, seems like the folder/zip name was incorrect, I’ve fixed it up now.
In regards to the bug you mentioned, the homebrew browser only looks at the file size of the boot.dol/elf file, if it doesn’t match the latest version of the homebrew browser it’s considered to be out of date.
I could make it read the version shown on the meta.xml file however some authors use text, dates, etc, so it would be hard to determine which application uses what style.
What I’m planning on doing as per a user request, is to just show a button that you can select when you know your version is newer than the homebrew browser’s version / if you want just want to manage that application yourself.
