     DVDx is no longer required if you have updated to the latest Homebrew Channel. I would imagine any homebrew that has a hard requirement for DVDx needs to be re-written to use AHBPROT/IOS58. I’m just assuming here, I have no coding knowledge, but if you have a specific app that you need DVDx for I suggest contacting the developer to see if they plan on adding IOS58/AHBPROT support instead.

   Hi all, installed a clean ios58 with tantrics installer and installed the new HBC.

   Everything is working great, except the home brew browser. It initializes the network, then scrolls the screen with “attempting to mount SD… failed” then “attempting to mount USB….failed”

   over and over and over…

   I do not have a sd card inserted, haven’t had to in forever. I run everything off of my FAT32 HDD. HBC and all other applications recognize the HDD no problem.

   I have used the HBB before I updated, and it recognized my HDD and everything just fine.

     I also had been having issues with the HBB due to everything else being updated around it (HBC etc). I tried using the test build for 0.3.9 and issues were resolved; I recommend trying that; it is available in the HBB development section under roadmap I believe. Haven’t tested with USB but It works great otherwise!

       Thanks for testing that, could you also change your repo to “HBC Themes”, reboot HBB and see if that works ok?

         Downloaded a couple themes without issue, everything seems good. Only slight issue I had with 0.3.9 was with the ‘already updated’ option; I chose Yes for WiiXplorer and it seemed to effect every app. I had to first delete existing apps when they were updated in order to download them.

           Thanks for that. Oh I didn’t think anyone would try that option out hehe I didn’t have the proper button for it but the coding for it I thought was complete so I’ll have a look into it

   I just wanted to say thanks for keeping the Homebrew Browser updated and stocked with new releases. This is one of the best applications for the Wii.

    I just this moment finished a fix for Engine02 that I was trying to get in before this update, but I’ve apparently just missed it. This is supposed to resolve a major-ish problem some people may have experienced if they tried to download one of the most recent game updates within the last few days that causes the program itself not to run (thus, no internal downloads). Any chance you could squeeze that in real quick so this doesn’t go unresolved for another week? :X

    Hi guys, in the next code revision of homebrew browser can you please include an icon.png that can be seen in HBC 1.08 since it uses a dark theme as default?
